I bought this security system for my hunting cabin and I have been really impressed with it. This system is pretty easy to set up. Just make sure you follow the included directions. I pleased with the clarity and response time in the camera to tv broadcast. This system is designed and put together with very good materials. I love that I can add extra cameras if I want. Excellent value for the money.

I got this Heimvision security camera system to supplement my existing system. Prior to purchasing this, I only had one camera and I had it pointed at my driveway to capture everything coming towards my house. That camera is a wireless camera that records to the cloud with a microSD card as a backup. I wanted something wired and a multicamera setup so that I can easily monitor my video feeds and cover every inch of my house. When looking for a camera system I wanted at least 4 cameras, hardwired and the ability to view it remotely via either an app or remote accessing the IP of the DVR. I found this product and it appeared to do what I was looking for so I decided to give it a shot.
Setup and installation is very easy. Everything except a harddrive is provided. I had a spare 3TB HDD so I tossed that in. The packaging includes the DVR unit, 4 cameras with all the necessary cables and mounting screws, a USB mouse and two power supply units. One of the power supply is for the DVR and the other is for the cameras. The mouse is necessary for setup.
On initial bootup there is a setup wizard. It’s all self explanatory and guides you through proper setup. As a word of advice, the unit does tell you to test all your cameras before mounting them. If you’ve worked with electronics or any DIY project before, you know this is good advice. Test your equipment before you waste time setting everything up just to find out it doesn’t work.
I tested all my cameras and they all worked so I went about mounting my cameras and running all my cables through my attic.
The camera system is good, especially for the price. It records in 1080p and I’m able to make out details of faces well enough to be able to provide useful evidence in the case of any burglary attempts. I’m not sure how good the night vision quality is as I have security lights that emit enough light for the sensor to record in color vision 24/7.
Only cons I can think of for this system is in regards to upgrading. This DVR supports 8 channels however I’m not sure where to buy more cameras to add to this system. Also the power harness system for the cameras could be an issue in regards to upgrading. It is a 4 cable to one cable power harness. If you intend to upgrade and add more cameras you’ll also have to get a new harness that’s 8 to 1 and I’m not sure where to buy that either.
4 cameras is perfect for my house as I have it installed on all 4 corners and essentially have no blindspots. For a point of reference, my house is 2100 sqft. If you have a house this size or smaller you should be fine.

I bought this camera for monitor my house,recently i heard that my friendâs house was stolen and this is the second time,the thief broke through the window,he lost some money and Jewelry and tablet,but he canât provide any evidence about the thief because there are no monitor nearby and he was out off his house when was stolen, it was terrible.
 I learned that the heimvision camera has motion detection function form the page,face detection,human shape detection and email alerts with snapshot, i think it is perfect for monitor my house even can keep my families more safe in the evening,.
It is really clear image,detailed instruction easy to setup,WAHTâS THE BETTER IS PRIVACY PROTECTION,it is said that you can set 4 area not been record,i set only one area–my washroom direction, because sometimes my little girl naked after she taking shower.it is not good to be record even thought he is only a 4-years-old girl.
What really impressed me is the night vision motion detection,i can see the car passed through the way on my house clearly,and i saw the snapshot about the car yesterday,but sometimes i also received some not important email,not a matter for me.
