    Though the provider (INITIALONE) was responsive in setting up the appointment when the job was completed it was not done as described in the amazon services page. You can DEFINITELY see the cables hanging everywhere. The provider did not installed covers to conceal the cables and did not even had appropriate clips to secure the cables. The provider stated they only had blue colored clips and given that my walls are white colored they suggested not using the blue clips which I had to agree with… though how common are blue colored walls?

    Certainly disappointed with the final product and would not use INITIALONE again and would seriously think twice about using amazon services…

    TV Wall Mounting and 7.1 Speaker installation was purchased at the same time and completed by the same vendor. The TV mounting seemed to be flawless, the installer worked with us to place the tv in the optimum position as allowed by our environment. It was not until a few days later that I discovered that the wall plugs installed were broken and not properly secured (see pictures).

    Now to the speaker installation. The speaker installation was awful, the installers were telling me that what I wanted to do (have the front left/right speakers installed midline with the TV) was “Physically Impossible.” After much discussion, the compromise was to hang the speakers close to the ceiling with the wires exposed.

    The entire ordeal from took almost 9 hours. They arrived at 11:49 AM and I told them to leave until 8:24 PM with the job unfinished. They ran out of speaker wire, which I had supplied.

    You can see from the images, the work was sloppy and the wires were exposed, even though the service purchased called for concealed wires.

    I contacted Amazon customer service who initially offered a partial refund in the form of a “promotional credit.” If ever offered a Promotional Credit do not take it. There is not a visible means of tracking such credit, and it can only be used on items sold and fulfilled by Amazon.

    Eventually I was placed in contact with the Amazon Happiness Guarantee team. David at the Happiness crew worked with me and had the vendor send a different installer out. On Saturday, Paul showed up and fixed the damaged outlets and mounted the speakers wear they were supposed to be in the first place. Paul was able to conceal the wires as requested and cleaned up after himself. If Paul would have been the installer for Dish Home Services on the first trip, I would be rating this installation with 5 stars. Thanks to Paul, and thanks to David who made sure I was happy with my order.

    Again, I recommend whoever shows up to complete your installation, make sure they have their own speaker wire, and make sure they understand what you want. If they cannot perform the install to your liking, ask them to leave and provide someone who can.

    When the provider called to verify the install, I could not understand him. I had to ask him to slow down so I could understand. Tech arrived and did not look the most professional. He was very nice. He pointed to his t shirt and commented, “I bet you didn’t know Dish did this”. Are they actually Dish? The Seller Profile shows ‘Dish Smart Home Services’.

    I commented that this is a 65″ tv. He called his supervisor and asked if he should proceed the install because it was a 65″ tv. The supervisor gave him the ‘go ahead’ and told him not to drop the tv. (What!?) He spent quite a bit of time trying to put the bracket on the back of the tv and said it wouldn’t fit. I had an alternate mount and suggested he try that one so it would fit properly. He declined and finally he put it on without the washers. Now I’m wondering if the tv is secure and will have someone look at it to make sure. Meanwhile he keeps receiving texts (which most installers do not answer when the are on a job) which he told me said “Don’t drop the tv”! (What!?) He took his stud finder and checked for studs. I could tell by the way it was working the studs were showing they were too far apart. He drills the hole and it goes right through the drywall…no stud. He comments, “Looks like I need a new stud finder”. (What!?) Now he taps the wall and finds the stud and installs the tv (and doesn’t drop it). All the while he is trying to sell me extra services (really, you just put a hole in my wall). The tv is not positioned right. I will need to move the bracket over 5 inches. He did not put the cables in the cable holders. He threw all the extra pieces in the box and left it on the floor. He did not clean up the drywall dust. Below is the Seller Profile:

    NONE OF THIS HAPPENED! But he did get the tv on the wall without dropping it. I do not blame the tech, he did the best he could. I blame the seller! This person needed to be taught professionalism and how to install correctly. I am very disappointed with DSHS and Amazon. I called Amazon directly after the install and reached someone I could not understand. He tried to not address the complaint (something I have never had with Amazon). I asked to speak with his one-up. The supervisor asks me, “Is the tv on the wall”? As if to say that the job was complete. At this point I am very upset. The supervisor starts getting defensive and offers me a discount, which I took because I was over this whole thing. Now I wish I would have asked for a full refund.
